I'll listen to pretty much anything (except for rap and country), but some of my favorites are: Tori Amos, Bare Naked Ladies, matchbox TWENTY, U2, Fuel, Train, No Doubt, Vertical Horizon, and the Beastie Boys (that last one is Chris's fault). I also became hooked on classical music while pregnant with Sara, and I used to always have a classical CD playing in the car - until Sara discovered Raffi, that is.
Well, Tori Amos's Scarlet's Walk came out on October 29th, and (predictably) it is my current disc of choice. To be honest, I haven't made it past the six or seventh track yet due to lack of free time (I haven't been able to convert Sara yet - she still prefers Arthur and Raffi to Tori, but I'm working on it), but I love all the songs I've heard thus far, especially "a sorta fairytale", "Wednesday" and "strange". Also, Tori has embarked on her new tour, and I'll be seeing her on November 17th in Providence (don't worry Erin, you'll have a great time!)
Some other discs I've been listening to lately are:
Rock Steady by No Doubt - actually, I'm pretty sick of this CD, but Sara loves "Hey Baby"; we often listen to the song three or four times in a row.
Nirvana by Nirvana - pretty much a greatest hits album, but it also contains "You Know You're Right", the last song Kurt, Dave and Krist recorded together.
Unfortunately, those are all I have time for these days. I haven't listened to the radio in weeks, so I have no ideas what new songs are out there - let me know if there's anything new and exciting I should be aware of.
